Father McGreevey?
Oh, c'mon. This is too easy.
Make your own damned joke.

This is Jerry Springer's dream show come true: "former married governors who came out of the closet and decided to be priests".

as an Episcopalian, I refuse to accept Communion from him..who knows where those hands have been lately? (He confessed in his tell-all book that he made secret gay liaisons with strangers on NJ roadways - who knows if he still does?)...I am sure he will insist on an all-male dorm at the semenary, sorry, freudian slip, I meant seminary...

Let's see: Come out of the closet, then become a priest. Isn't that exactly the opposite of the way it usually goes?

::ducking!::

He can perform whatever he wants with his partner as long as I don't have to watch.

The objections to McGreevey as a potential priest sound like neo-Donatism to me. If the efficacy of the Sacraments depends on the sinlessness of the celebrant, then we're all at risk.

Yes, he's an individual with a troubled past -- but so were Peter and Paul and Judas Iscariot. Let's see where he goes from here. We might be surprised -- or not.

doesn't matter in Episcopal religion if married..cannot be married in Catholic, but can enter priesthood if divorced.. I believe only if from another religion and then convert ,,,how hypocritical is that?
