It's money that I love
I took the opportunity to ask him what he thought of an adage I mentioned in that column, namely, "Do what you love and the money will follow.'' Is it true, I wanted to know, and if it is, given that I'm nearly 48, how much longer do I have to wait before the money shows up.
"The money never follows,'' he said. "You have to chase it.'' He paused for a second. "But, he said, "you don't want to waste your life chasing it.''
So, we're pretty much out of luck, aren't we, I asked him. "Maybe,'' he said, "but no matter what, it's always better to do something you love than to work at a job you hate.''
Which goes to show you that even corporate muckety-mucks may have some wisdom tucked away in their hearts.

Is it still better to be poor and happy?..wait a minute...noooo
I just read in APP that the Walmart may not be built on highway 37 Manchester because of a snake. However on same page we read that people are being forced to sell their homes so that rich corp builders and built big condos. Now a snake can stop the building of a huge Walmart in Manchester but people don't seem to have the same rights as the snakes. Now tell me what is wrong with this picture.

damn right
snakes and terrorists both have all the rights these days it seems..people should find an "endangered" animal and build a nest in their eminent domain endangered homes in Long Branch, etc. to thwart the greedy waterfront developers..
ray, if you were reading all the blogs'responses, I was answering toni johnson's comments about the walmart/snakes situation...blogs do not always answer the original posted comment but are an evolving process , answering ensuing bloggers' comments...can you follow that concept?
and yet, your responce was still idiotic
(this is not ray)
and so is your incorrect spelling of the word "response"...
