About Me
- Name: Michael Riley
Michael Riley is a feature writer and columnist for the Asbury Park Press. An ordained American Baptist minister, he pastored three congregations over a period of 20 years before being lured from the pulpit by the secular humanist, heathenish world of journalism. The Baptists were only slightly sorry to see him go. Riley was born in Camden and raised in a South Jersey trailer park in the shadow of a truck stop. He is a graduate of Eastern College and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, who will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in May, have four sons. The only really honest work he has ever done was a stint as a clam shucker at a place called Cap'n Cat's in South Jersey. Riley has been said to assume that he is usually the smartest person in any room he happens to be in. The man has opinions.

The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association might consider setting up a few tents there.
I couldn't bring myself to listen to a word that man had to say. Obviously it was a good choice, based on the one comment you provided for us that he made. I'm sure there were other things just as inane, insensitive and untrue and irrelevant he had to share.
This monster speaks at Columbia,, & the UN and this is the only comment you could make. I guess beside being Shallow, You are also a CHRISTIAN-A- FOB.
I guess it'd be difficult being a gay man in Iran..an eye for an eye..a penis for a penis. Can't believe cable news even wasted a minute broadcasting his propaganda rubbish. Where was OJ and a car chase when we needed it ?
Dr. Mr. Riley you really owe fundametalist Christians an apology. We hate the sin not the sinner.I haven't heard of any fundamentalist Christian killing or torturing a homosexual. Please refer to Romans 1 if you happen to have a Bible laying around the house.
anonymous: "We hate the sin not the sinner."
Is there anybody out there who's naive enough to believe that load of crap? You folks live on hate. Must I remind you of Donald Wildmon as an example?
I don't know about Don Wildmon. Who the heck is that? I'm almost afraid to ask but...
Just another wacko right wing evangelist with more popularity than sense.
The name didn't register at first, but now I know he's the guy with the American Family Association.
He is right wing, and he alerts those to things not written in mainstream newspapers.
Kind of like pat-without the popularity or sense.
Call him what you will, but he does make known to the masses what others would prefer to remain silent and unknown.
Like Hitler and Saddam.
Don Wildmon is Hitler? Oh boy, big jump. Kinda silly.

And what would that be?
Bills that are up for vote that most of the population are not aware of. Things that happen in the public school system that most of the public are not aware of. Things like that.
